While Amazon’s Summer Beauty Event promises major markdowns on skin care and makeup, Sephora’s Oh Hair Yeah sale is for the tress-obsessed. Dyson‘s high-end hair tools are among the items that are part of the retailer’s pre-summer beauty blowout.
Though Sephora’s sale runs through May 10, Dyson’s Airstrait wet-to-dry straightener and smart Supersonic Nural hair dryer on sale for $100 off today only. That brings the price down to $399 for each of the devices — a savings of 20 percent off the list price.
Sephora’s Oh Hair Yeah sale event also features up to 50 percent off select hair care products on select days, including Dyson, Vegamour and Kérastase today; Drybar and IGK on April 30; Amika and Pureology on May 1; Living Proof, the Rootist and BondiBoost on May 2; Shark Beauty, Briogo and Olaplex on May 3; and Drybar, Briogo and Vegamour on May 4.
Dyson Supersonic Nural Hair Dryer
Though the seasonal beauty sales at Sephora and Amazon are already part of the retailers’ strategies, they come as shoppers are uncertain about stability of consumer product prices. Beauty tech brand Foreo confirmed it was raising prices by up to 30 percent as a response to the U.S. government’s import tariffs, and The Hollywood Reporter‘s shopping editors have already seen prices on certain beauty items increase by $2 to $5 within the last two months.

Rihanna-loved makeup artist Priscilla Ono has also called the Airwrap “a game changer.”
