LeBron James‘ favorite board game may be sold out (and commanding upwards of $5K), but you can still celebrate the NBA superstar’s love for Monopoly with a new limited-edition release of his signature kicks.
To celebrate the 90th anniversary of the iconic game, Nike is partnering with Hasbro on the LeBron NXXT Genisus EP and Nike LeBron XXII “What The Currency” sneakers ($121 and up), which both feature Monopoly branding in distinctive lines, silky smooth fluidity and flex. Meanwhile, accents and colorways are bold and eye-catching.
Made from sustainable materials, both Nike sneakers are sleek and stylish, while they’re made for speed and durability. The sports apparel company’s state-of-the-art absorption materials give additional cushioning and bounce when on the basketball court, or in casual use for everyday wear.

LeBron NXXT Genisus EP
Priced at $160, the LeBron NXXT Genisus EP sneakers are lightweight with a supportive mesh upper for breathability. It features a flexible “Air Zoom” cushioning for additional speed and bounce.
They come in a striking Persian violet, imperial purple, glacier ice and white colorway with a Monopoly logo tag at the Nike Swoosh, a Monopoly logo on each insole and a “500” (the highest denomination of Monopoly money) with LeBron James’ crown logo in gold the pair’s inner quarter. And to round it out, James’ signature is at the bottom of each shoe.

On sale for $120.97 (reg. $200), Nike LeBron XXII “What The Currency” sneakers are also lightweight with the support, cushioning and speed you’d come to expect from the sports apparel company. The signature shoes come in a mint foam, light lemon twist, Aquarius blue and cerise colorway with aggressive stitching between the upper, Nike Swoosh and quarter.
The sneakers have Monopoly branding with the board game’s logo at the quarter and on the insoles, while a pair of game dice is located just above the midsole. Meanwhile, LeBron James’ signature can be found at the heels in colorful piping.
