Streaming Ratings March 24-30, 2025

Netflix’s murder mystery The Residence moved into first place on the streaming charts for the last week of March, and The White Lotus hit a high mark as it closed in on its third season finale.

The Residence, starring Uzo Aduba as a brilliant detective investigating a murder in the White House, drew 1.84 billion minutes of viewing in the United States from March 24-30. That’s up from 1.36 billion for its premiere week, a gain of about 36 percent.

Reacher, whose season three finale premiered March 27 on Prime Video, took second overall with 1.3 billion minutes, up from 1.1 billion the previous week. The White Lotus hit a series high with 1.11 billion minutes of watch time on Max, its first time over the billion-minute mark.

The previous week’s overall leader, Adolescence, dropped to fifth place with 948 million viewing minutes for Netflix. Severance (571 million minutes) stayed in the top 10 original series a week after its season two finale on Apple TV+, and The Pitt (518 million) grew about 11 percent week to week. Hulu’s Good American Family debuted in the top 10 originals with 344 million minutes of viewing. Netflix’s romcom The Life List topped the movie chart with 775 million viewing minutes.

Nielsen’s streaming ratings cover viewing on TV sets only and don’t include minutes watched on computers or mobile devices. The ratings only measure U.S. audiences, not those in other countries. The top streaming titles for March 24-30, 2025, are below.
