Season 2 Cast, Emma Myers’ Return

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder has unveiled a number of new cast members joining season two of the hit Netflix drama.

First-look images of Wednesday star Emma Myers were also released as she returns to the role of Pip Fitz-Amobi, based on the character from Holly Jackson’s bestselling novels.

The BBC, Netflix and ZDFneo confirmed on Monday that Misia Butler (KAOS) is set to feature as Stanley Forbes and Eden Hambelton Davies (Tell Me Everything) as Jamie Reynolds, brother of Connor (played by Jude Morgan-Collie). Jack Rowan (Noughts and Crosses) will also star as Charlie Green, Pip’s new neighbor who is drawn into the heart of the mystery unravelling in Kilton.

Season two will also see Anna Brindle (The Outs), Peter Sullivan (Around The World In 80 Days), Freddie Thorp (Fate: The Winx Saga), Lu Corfield (The Crow Girl), Stephanie Street (Breathtaking) and Freddie England join the cast in key roles. They star alongside the returning cast of series one: Zain Iqbal (Death, Whatever!), Henry Ashton (My Lady Jane), Asha Banks (My Fault: London), Yali Topol Margalith (The Tattooist of Auschwitz), and Morgan-Collie (Here We Go).

After solving the Andie Bell case, Pip’s world has been transformed by her actions, and not always for the better. “Pip is determined to fix the fallout,” a plot synopsis reads, “and stay away from any more investigations.”

“But as Max Hastings’ trial approaches, Connor’s brother Jamie suddenly disappears and Pip finds herself in a race against time to find him. This new mystery will take Pip to unexpected places as she struggles with the idea of justice, straying even further from the ‘good girl’ she once was.”

The first season of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder was deemed a big hit when it premiered in summer 2024, becoming one of BBC iPlayer’s most watched titles with 16-24 year olds and BBC Three’s highest rating drama since its relaunch.

The second season was commissioned for the BBC by Lindsay Salt, Director of BBC Drama, and Fiona Campbell, Controller Youth Audience, BBC Three and BBC iPlayer. It is produced by Moonage Pictures (part of ITV Studios) for BBC iPlayer and BBC Three in co-production with Netflix and ZDFneo.

Season two will premiere on the BBC and, outside of the U.K. and Ireland, on Netflix where available. In Germany it will be available exclusively on ZDFneo. In Australia it will be exclusively on Stan.
